Maria Sharapova, of Russia got medical treatment for her shoulder against Poland's Marta Domachowski during second round action at the Rogers Cup tennis match Wednesday, July 30, 2008 in Montreal. The three time grand slam winner announced she is pulling out of the Olympics and the US Open. She has a torn rotater cuff tendon and will go to Arizona to get rehab and treatment and strength work. I can relate to this because when I don't hit the gym enough and do maintenance on my muscles (especially my shoulders) they become weakened and loose and have a tendancy to tear and/or dislocate. In order to fix this, surgery or strengthening the shoulder muscles are required.
